16 year old Jared Sanchez from Liberty City, California. A character I play in a Mutants and Masterminds game. Jared is Defender, a non-powered hero that uses his father's prototype battlesuit.

This isn't the first time that this character appeared in my deviant stuff. However, unless you know me, its unlikely that you'll know where. He first appeared as the "inspiration" for a character of the same name the BetaForce ([link]) stuff I used to write. He was kinda merged with another character (from a Marvel game) to create the "wheelman" of Echo Cell.

He's also been mentioned a couple of times in Ryan's Story. Ryan reads a fictional comic book series called "The Defenders". The main character of this series, Defender, is Jared's alternate identity when he's in his fathers battlesuit. The whole thing with The Defenders is an in-joke that only one person on deviantart will get since he runs the M&M game that I play Jared in.
